The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has announced the timetable for SSC and HSC exam 2010.

The SSC exam will be held from March 4 while HSE exam will be commenced from February 23.

According to the MSBSHSE website, the practical exams for HSE will be held from Feb 3 to Feb 20 while for SSC the date for practical exam will be Feb to Feb 26.

There will be multiple question paper sets for English (third language) and Mathematics subjects for SSC. For HSC, there will be multiple question paper sets for English only. The general Mathematics paper will be conducted for the first time this year for SSC. The duration of the Geography paper of the HSC will be three hours instead of two and a half hours.

The board will send the entire time table to all schools. However, the HSE and SSC timetable is available on its website www.msbshse.ac.in.

Students are advised to confirm the date and time of examination from school.

IIST Admission Test - ISAT 2010 - First Announcement

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) Thiruvananthapuram will be conducting an admission test for its BTech Programmes in Aerospace Engineering, Avionics and Physical Sciences. Seat reservation in our admission conforms with Central Government reservation policy. The details of the test, the admission process, and instructions on how to apply, will appear in news papers and webpage soon.

IIST admission test will be similar to other all India engineering entrance tests. Questions will be of the objective type and there will be two sessions of two hours duration each. It will be based mainly on the CBSE Syllabus of 11th and 12th standards for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The test will be conducted in the third weekend of April, 2010 in several centers across the country.
