3 Idiots but it is the moviegoer who could end up looking like an 'idiot' this Christmas.

Reports say the multiplex owners have decided to hike the ticket prices for the movie by as much as 35 per cent.

Audience, who were looking forward to watching the much-hyped movie, is clearly miffed with the decision. Aamir too doesn't seem to be very happy on hearing this news. He said, "I want the ticket prices to be low so that everyone can go and watch it."

Sources say that the producers of the film wanted a higher share of revenues and since no party wanted to budge, the next best thing was to shift that burden on to the film-goer.

Producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra said, " I don't know where you guys get the news from. If the multiplexes want to sell their tickets at that price I can't have a say in that."

The point remains though that spending Rs 2000 for four is still an expensive option for the average viewer. Let's hope though that all remians well when the film releases this Friday.
