Singer Rihanna arrives fashionably late to be honored at Glamour Magazine's 2009 Women of the Year Awards,

Superstars Rihanna and Jay-Z will perform on the New Year's Eve With Carson Daly special in New York, NBC announced.

Daly said: 'The real star of any New Year's Eve show is New York City and Jay-Z is New York. Green Day and Rihanna were already an impressive line-up and now with the addition of Jay-Z, it's our most exciting line-up yet.'

The NBC's New Year's Eve With Carson Daly special will see the sizzling duo perform Umbrella and their hit song Run This Town. Both tracks were up for Grammy Awards this year. Green Day will also perform.

In addition, Jay-Z's video for On To The Next One from The Blueprint 3 album will debut on the show. The two-hour special will air live on December 31 at 10pm EST.
