NFL Releases Playoff Schedule 2010 As Fans Prepare | NFL | NFL Playoff Schedule | NFL Playoffs | NFL Playoff Picture | NFL Standings

The NFL has released the NFL Playoff Schedule 2010. The schedule solidifies the TV schedule, though of course, with the exception of the wild-card weekend, the entirety of the schedule can't be known until some games are played.

The NFL Playoff Schedule 2010, in the opening weekend, shows a number of interesting match-ups. While wild-card teams are at a distinct disadvantage in the playoffs, as they play on the road the entire time, if they can continue to win.

Of course, last year, the Arizona Cardinals, who almost nobody thought could go anywhere, made it all the way to the Super Bowl. Many felt the Cardinals should have won.

The NFL Playoff Schedule 2010 for Wild-Card Weekend is as follows:

Saturday, January 9th

AFC Wild Card Game (1:30 P.M. PST on NBC)
NFC Wild Card Game (5:00 P.M. PST on NBC)

Sunday, January 10th

NFC Wild Card Game (10:00 A.M. PST on Fox)
AFC Wild Card Game (1:30 P.M. PST on CBS)

As yet, the NFL Playoff Schedule 2010 has not set the exact teams that will play on each day. That won't be set until after the final results of the CIN vs. NYJ game. The Jets need to win, otherwise HOU will make the playoffs.

Considering that the NYJ are leading the Bengals, who have nothing to gain by playing their regulars, 27-0 in the 3rd quarter, it's safe to assume the NYJ will be in the wildcard.

This would mean the following will be the matchups in the NFL Playoff Schedule 2010, wild-card weekend, AFC:

Baltimore Ravens (9-7) at New England Patriots (10-6), Gillette Stadium
Jets (8-7, likely 9-7) or Texans (9-7, only if Jets lose) at Cincinnati Bengals (10-5), Paul Brown Stadium

The matchups in the NFL Playoff Schedule 2010, wild-card weekend, NFC:

Philadelphia (11-5) at 3. Dallas Cowboys (11-5), Cowboys Stadium

Saturday, January 16th
